Ford Delivers Record ASEAN Sales

Ford Motor Company today announced overall retail sales for the ASEAN region in 2014 that rose more than five percent from the previous year to a record 100,824 units.

The company’s ASEAN sales were driven by record full-year performances in the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia and Myanmar, as well as full-year market share gains in Thailand amidst a significant domestic industry slowdown.

Ford Ranger is Philippines's Best-Selling Pick-Up; Ford Sales Grow 56 Percent in 2014

You are looking at the country’s best-selling pick-up truck. After some back-and-forth with its perennial rival (and former best-selling pick-up truck), the Toyota Hilux, the Ford Ranger has emerged as the Philippines’s best-selling pick-up in the country with unit sales of 7,996 units.

Ford Philippines has also revealed that the Ranger is the best-selling pick-up in both 4x2 and 4x4 categories as per industry sales reports. The Ranger’s accomplishment comes hot on the heels of its award-winning year where it won a total of six prestigious awards including a back-to-back win as the country’s Truck of the Year.

Here’s one Ford Mustang merchandise ladies won’t mind owning: a limited-edition OPI nail lacquer inspired by the iconic pony car’s 50th anniversary. As far as collaborations go, this is one of the more unexpected ones but Ford figured that women like to express their passion and bold personalities with nail lacquer; and since the Ford Mustang is an equally passionate and bold car—boom. They both figure it’s a match made in heaven.

The limited edition collection will debut starting July and OPI Products will carry several shades of Ford Mustang-inspired nail lacquer headlined by the Mustang’s hero shade: Race Red. Sadly though, this product is only available in the USA. It will be sold internationally (this has been confirmed). Though this is lady stuff, who knows what men will do? Ford Honors Top Dealers at 2014 Annual Dealer Convention

Ford Philippines recently celebrated its 2014 Annual Ford Dealer Convention at the Filinvest Tent, which recognized top achievers among their Metro Manila and provincial dealerships.

Ford Balintawak, under the leadership of its Dealer Principal Anthony N. Cheng, was named Ford’s ‘2013 Dealer of the Year’ in Metro Manila.  Ford Iloilo, led by Dealer Principal Andre R. Borromeo, was named the ‘2013 Dealer of the Year’ among provincial dealerships for the second year in a row.
