BYD to Open in Batangas City; Expansion Plans in Place for 2015

SOLAR Transport and Automotive Resources Corp. (STAR Corp.), authorized distributor of BYD Auto China Ltd. Co., and Areza Motor Sales (AMS) signed a memorandum of understanding recently at the BYD Shaw showroom which will pave the way for the opening of a BYD dealership in Batangas.  This development will make the BYD brand well represented in the southwestern Luzon area as BYD Batangas provides support for sales, after-sales and spare parts and accessories to the growing number of BYD customers.

BYD F0 is Official Car of "Challenge of Champions"

The BYD F0 served as the “spec car” during the recent Challenge of Champions (COC) race-off, organized by Flat Out Race Series Inc. (FORS) headed by Edward dela Rosa, which was held on December 6 at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas.

BYD, AAP Enter Customer Service Partnership

The Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), the country’s national auto club, and Chinese carmaker, BYD, recently entered into a partnership, which forms part of the BYD Five-Star Customer Service Program.  Present at the contract signing were Augusto C. Lagman, president, and Jacinto M. Mantaring, Jr., chairperson, membership and admin committee, who represented AAP, while Mark Tieng and Jose Paolo “Popo” Soriano, Star Corp. managing director and general manager, respectively, represented BYD.
